Ethiopian Mental Health Association (EMHA)

The Ethiopian Mental Health Association (EMHA) is a mental health graduates’ association founded by four committed and volunteer Ethiopians of the first batch graduates of the Integrated Clinical and Community Mental Health program, established in May 2016 G.C. This association has more than 400 registered members and is staffed with both administration and finance staffs. To enhance its performance in various regions, it has established regional focal persons and University Students’ Associations across the country. It envisions safeguarding the profession and professionals by attaining the protection of rights and incentives, job description and nomenclature of clinical practice for the member mental health professionals and an optimal standard of mental health services in the country.
